With such a varied ethnic mix, it is not surprising that Israel has produced an interesting music scene, with artists performing Western music with a Middle eastern flavor, side by side with what has come to be known as Mediterranean style, with its Greek, Turkish and Arabic influences. Israeli performers appear regularly before foreign audiences, spreading a refreshing musical style appreciated by purists and ethnic music fans alike.
