The factory operates round the clock, every day of the year, apart from holidays and on the Sabbath. Sugat has a large logistical centre that serves its customers 24 hours a day. The company's main offices are located in Ramat Gan.

Sugar factory
The company operates a number of advanced lines serving the industry:
There are packaging lines for 1-ton, 50-kilogram and 25-kilogram bags, as well as a system for supplying sugar in bulk. The retail market receives the goods from the modern, sophisticated lines that package sugar in 1-kilogram bags. In addition, there is a system for packaging white sugar and special sugars (classic brown sugar, classic Demerara sugar and classic golden sugar) in jars.
As a dominant sugar authority in Israel, Sugat is also responsible for maintaining emergency stockpiles for the state.

Rice factory
Sugat has a rice processing factory, equipped with the world's most advanced, sophisticated equipment, including silos, sorting and sieving machines, laboratories, etc. All of these are involved in the processing and cleaning process, which is one of the most meticulous in Israel.

Legume and cereal factory
Sugat has a wide range of high quality legumes and cereals. This line includes a number of different types of beans, all varieties of lentils, quinoa, wholewheat, fava beans and more. To maintain the quality of the products, the company invested in special systems that ensure the highest sanitation levels.

According to family legend, it was Phillipe, the smallest member of the Chriqui family that had recently immigrated to Israel from North Africa, who missed his favorite dish and asked for couscous. Phillipe's father, David, went out to buy some and after trying store after store, discovered there was none to be had. Then and there, as the legend goes, David Chriqui decided to establish a factory in Israel that would produce ready-made couscous for quick and easy home preparation... and the rest is history. David opened his first factory in Jaffa, employing local Arab women who hand-rolled the semolina into tiny couscous balls and sun-dried them. This was the traditional method used in North Africa for creating stores of food. Later, David developed machines to do what his workers were doing. He thereby succeeded in saving labor and enhancing hygiene, while making sure to maintain the original quality and authenticity of the final product. This has remained the company's driving motivating right up to the present day.

 As the company grew, its facilities moved to Ra'anana and Hod Hasharon, where it continued to develop and automate its manufacturing process. In 1993 the plant moved to its current location in Netanya, where further upgrades to all manufacturing lines have made the Couscous Maison manufacturing facility the most advanced of its kind, using the latest food technologies. Every stage in the manufacturing process - from sifting and rolling the semolina, through cooking and drying, to final packaging - is completely automated so that from raw material to finished product it is untouched by the human hand. With product quality and authenticity painstakingly preserved, all manufacturing lines meet the strictest international standards including GMP, HACCP, and ISO 9001-2000.

Feldman's Ice Cream - More than Fifty Years of Tradition - The Feldman Ice Cream Company started as a local coffee shop, the famous "Kapulsky", in the city of Rehovot during the British mandate around the 1940's. The Place was found by Mr.Fridle (Pedya) Feldman and his wife Bracha, and the ice cream, which was produced for local customers, soon became famous for its quality and taste. In 1963 they built the first factory in Rehovot new industrial zone. Today, the factory expanded but still operates from the original place and it has more than 100 employees. 

 The factory operates under the name "Felco" , and it is still owned by the Feldmans. Under the guidance of our managing director, Mrs. Dina Shalev (daughter of the company's founders), Felco has graduated from a small company manufacturing only for the local market to a highly successful corporation, selling ice cream all over Israel and also in Europe and the Americas. Our founder's motto - "QUALITY ABOVE ALL" - is still our prime objective.

The factory operates in 2 shifts and produces more than 100 varieties of quality ice cream products all year round.
