OrSense is a medical device company that develops and commercializes patient monitoring solutions for non-invasive continuous measurements of hemoglobin, oxygen saturation, glucose and other blood parameters. OrSense's NBM-200MP monitors and displays oxygen saturation of Hb (SpO2), low signal oximetry, SpO2, pulse rate, plethysmogram and hemoglobin, all non-invasively and continuously. The system is designed for use in hospitals including operating and recovery rooms and intensive care units as well as in outpatient sites and emergency services.

OrSense’s non-invasive hemoglobin/hematocrit monitor was granted the CE approval and was tested on over 4,000 patients and donors at 15 sites in the U.S. and Europe. The Company's products are based on its proprietary Occlusion Spectroscopy technology, which overcomes key obstacles that hinder the performance of competing approaches.

OrSense next generation products target non-invasive monitoring of blood glucose in the hospital and for home use. The CE approved glucose monitor was tested on over 450 diabetic subjects. Results indicate performance similar to those of invasive glucose sensors on the market today.

OrSense’s products address markets that represent annual revenue opportunities of over $10 billion.

OrSense has a multidisciplinary staff  with over half of the R&D personnel holding  PhD/MDs including scientists, mathematicians, engineers and an experienced management team. The company is supported by internationally recognized scientists from leading research centers.

OrSense’s intellectual property portfolio consists of 51 granted patents with over 20 additional applications in process.
