Savyon Diagnostics NanoCHIP Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Panels Are Now Available Throughout Europe

Savyon Diagnostics is proud to announce that its NanoCHIP® Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) panels have received CE-IVD marking (List B, Annex II) and are now available throughout Europe!

• The STI Plex Panel (192 tests/kit) is intended for screening of Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Trichomonas vaginalis. The performance of the STI-Plex kit was tested on over 200 symptomatic urine and swab samples showing an overall sensitivity and specificity of 98% and 97.8% respectively
• The STI Plex+ Panel (133 tests/kit) is intended for detection of Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Mycoplasma hominis, mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplasma urealyticum and Ureaplasma parvum. The performance of the STI-Plex+ kit was tested on over 400 symptomatic urine and swab samples showing an overall sensitivity and specificity of 100% and 99.7% respectively

Both panels are compatible with urine or urogenital swab samples. Once loaded onto the NanoCHIP® molecular microarray system, up to 96 samples can be tested simultaneously in a single reaction/sample. Results can be generated on the same working day and with minimal hands-on time, thus enabling medium-high throughput screening from sample to result.
