Trima is an Israeli company that traces its origins to the early 1960’s, when Kibbutz Maabarot acquired a small pharmaceutical factory. It proceeded to develop Trima into
the dynamic and internationally respected company it is today.

In 1998, Kibbutz Maabarot brought on board a strategic investor – the Motivan Group, a well known Pharmaceutical group in the Israeli market . The Partnership with Motivan boosted the business activity of Trima with additional resources and extensive Pharmaceutical experience.

Trima manufactures and markets a wide range of Rx and OTC pharmaceuticals which
include tablets, capsules, liquids, creams and ointments. We specialize in:
•Dermatology – positioned as a leader in the Israeli market.
•Allergy – unique nasal spray and syrup based products.
•NSAID - topical and oral preparations in rheumatology and analgesia.
•Neurology – Leading molecules for the treatment of Epilepsy, Parkinson,
seizures in general, and Migraine .
•Cough and cold preparations – veteran, marketing leading products.

Trima's R&D department is at the forefront of Generics development while being active in a number of ongoing projects with some leading academic institutes, like the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Trima has received the acknowledgment and endorsement of leading international pharmaceutical companies, such as Gedeon Richter (Hungary), Sinclair (UK), and Frensenius Kabi (South Africa) that have appointed Trima as the Israeli licensee for some of their leading product lines.

In the late 1980's, Trima leveraged its success and expanded its business overseas. With loyal partners in each country, we now sell our products in leading countries in the Far East and Central Asia, such as Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore. Trima's GMP certification and rigorous Quality assurance processes have been instrumental to our entrance into these advanced and challenging markets.

Trima's head office, manufacturing site and laboratories are situated at 3 sites, located in the rural Hefer Valley, 20 miles north of Tel-Aviv, Israel. Trima employs some 200 employees, most of which hold higher academic degrees.
