That man is Joe Girard
Between the years 1963 to 1978, Joe sold 13,000 cars at a Chevrolet dealership in Michigan.
Joe Girard is probably the worlds #1 automobile salesman.
As a car salesman Joe understood the power of self promotion and selling yourself.
In his great book "How to sell yourself" he talks about how self promotion and selling himself (not arrogantly) played a major role in his marketing.
Joe would often wear a button on his shirt that read: "The Best Car Salesman" branding himself to his potential clients as THE best car salesman.
In his words:
"I never sold a car in my life, I sold a Girard."
